  Concert Choir

Concert Choir is open to any student, grades 9-12, interested in singing with others to create quality music. This year-long class rehearses only on A days and focuses on intermediate vocal skills and technique specifically in a "classic" choral style, singing a variety of songs including different styles and languages. In addition, the group performs in three concerts per year. Other singing opportunities include Large Group Festival every-other year, as well as WSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival where they perform individually or in small groups for a judge (which is encouraged, but not required).  Concerts outside of the school day are REQUIRED for this course.

In addition, this group performs in three concerts per year, as well as large-group vocal festival every-other year. Dance Floor
  Show Choir

Show Choir is an auditioned group of student singers, grades 9-12, that focuses on vocal skills and technique, specifically in the styles of classic and contemporary popular music, musical theater, vocal jazz, and collegiate-style a cappella. Show Choir also features dance as a portion of its performance repertoire, and strength in showmanship is preferred! The group has a variety of performance opportunities throughout the school year, including but not limited to the Wisconsin Singers Invitational Concert, Solo and Ensemble Festival, and Chamber Singing in December. Involvement in Show Choir offers a unique opportunity to develop as a vocalist while singing and dancing as a member of an ensemble. Auditions are held in May for the following school year. Please contact Mrs. Jorgenson if you are interested in auditioning for next year’s show choir.  Concerts outside of the school day are REQUIRED for this course.
